Electronic and software designers

Robertson Geologging Ltd. is urgently seeking experienced electronic and software design engineers to work on new logging tool developments.. We have immediate vacancies for engineers with backgrounds in digital/analog design and experience in DSP, FPGA and embedded microprocessor technologies. Knowledge of C++/Delphi is a prerequisite. Experience in high-temperature electronics would be valued.

Mechanical design/ instrumentation engineers

We invite applications from talented mechanical design engineers to join our project group developing our new range of slim oilfield borehole logging probes. We are seeking motivated individuals with strong backgrounds in light mechanical/ precision engineering with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The tasks range from original concept to detailed design and drawing and assistance with prototype production within our engineering department.

You will ideally have a degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering and at least 3 years' experience in an industrial/ scientific environment. Competence in 3D CAD (SolidWorks) is essential. Experience in precision electromechanical assemblies, hydraulics and pressure seals would be invaluable.

Draughtsperson

We have a vacancy for an experienced draughtsperson to assist our mechanical designers to prepare detailed 3D CAD drawings, assembly drawings and BOMs. You will have a practical engineering background and competence in SolidWorks
and ideally an HNC/HND qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field. There is the opportunity to prgress to a design role as your experience grows.
